Hey guys! So I would have updated the day after my last journal entry, but we had a couple things happen at home that required all of my attention (still kinda is, but I have a little time to spare). Simba, one of my older Guinea pig boys, is very ill. We took him to the vet yesterday cause he had lost way too much weight and wasn’t eating. He’s on pain medication and a couple other things to help him gain back his weight, as well as us force feeding him at this time to help encourage him to eat. :/ We haven’t really slept in the past couple of days, but he is slowly looking more alert and less dull-eyed. Things are looking up lately! I haven’t been able to share because of legal reasons, but I finally can now: back in June of last year, we got into a bad sideswipe accident/hit-and-run situation that left Andrew and I in severe pain. Thankfully, since Andrew does/did Uber, he managed to catch the guy that hit us and had fled the scene when we merely tried to exchange info with him. Turned out, the man had expired tags, a fake ID, and was drunk! He had insurance, thankfully, and we took him to court! The court case is over, he admitted fault, and now we’re getting the payout that is covering the financial hole that we were left in
